"Navy" Dave Stevens is the principle
owner and the driving force behind the Stevens Family Top
Fuel Dragster. It is however, a family affair as you will
soon see.
Dave has been involved with Drag
Racing since the very beginning, helping his father, Paul
Stevens, with his record setting Top Fuel Dragster. Paul has
passed on, but is with the team in spirit and this effort is
dedicated to him.
Dave has driven, built and worked
with everything from Top Fuel Dragsters to Fuel Altereds,
Funny Cars to a Hudson powered D/Dragster, been a NHRA track
manager and involved in every aspect of Drag Racing. Retired
from the U.S. Navy, this is his dream and he is up for the
challenge.
